Time Magazine’s Person of the Year
At the end of every year since 1927, the American news magazine Time has chosen a “Person of the Year” for its December cover. Presidents of the United States are often chosen, and this year is no exception. Joe Biden will be on the cover, but this year is different. He will not be alone. The next vice president, Kamala Harris, will join him. She is the first woman vice president in the history of the U.S., and she is the first person of color to be the vice president. Biden and Harris will be even more important next year when they work to stop the COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.
