High School Essay, 3rd Prize: Thank you, Mr. X
One morning, I was competing with other commuters as usual to reach the train gate first. Just then, I noticed somebody passing by who was making a loud noise. “Boom!” The noise was from an electric wheelchair, and the driver was a man in a suit. He always attracts people’s attention due to the noise, but he doesn’t seem to care about it at all. He looks confident in himself. Gradually, I came to think the noise was not so annoying and looked forward to encountering him somewhere in my heart. I’ve noticed that his attitude has encouraged me. I sincerely want to say “Thank you” to him. However, I won’t let him beat me in the next morning competition!
