Junior High Essay, 2nd Prize: A Letter
My cram school teacher was kind. Her future dream was to be a pharmacist. Coincidentally, my future dream was to be a doctor, so I learned a lot from her and we became good friends. Two years later, she gave me a letter, and after she left the room, I read it. When she came back, she asked me, “Did you read my letter?” I said “yes” and we both cried. The letter said, “I’m sorry to tell you this so suddenly. Today is the last day you will see me. If I tell you directly, you will cry. I hope you become a doctor and we can meet again.”
