Readers’ Corner: BTS’s Message Reached Me
A friend of mine sent me a short self-recorded video. She was dancing to a BTS song in her living room. Later she sent me another video of her dancing in her uniform in the changing room at her workplace. It made me smile and brightened up my day. I started practicing the same dance following along with her video and the BTS promotion video, dreaming that my friend and I could dance together in the near future. BTS made an opening speech at the United Nations saying, “Don’t think of the future as harsh or dark.” The message is supposed to be for younger generations, but it reached a sixty-year-old Japanese woman in Sapporo.
