The Prime Minister has a Sweet Tooth
Suga Yoshihide is getting a lot of attention these days because he is the new prime minister. I read an article in the newspaper about what he likes to eat, and I was surprised to see that one of his favorite dishes is pancakes. He must have a sweet tooth (he must like sweet things). He likes the pancakes served at the Hotel New Otani. They are the thickest and the most expensive pancakes I have ever seen! Pancakes in the U.S. are usually only 1 cm thick, and cost about $10, but the ones at the New Otani are 5 cm thick and cost 2,800 yen.
