Ishikawa is a Hot Topic
I asked my students to write about someone famous last week, and two of them picked the same person, Ishikawa Yuki. Then I saw him on the TV news last night. He is a famous volleyball player from Aichi Prefecture. I don’t really follow volleyball, so I didn’t know much about him. He was on TV was because he is moving to a new Italian professional volleyball team in Milano. He has played in Italy since his university days, but he was worried about the coronavirus. In the end, he decided that he should stay in Italy so that he could do his best and be a top international player.
