Almost Nothing Was Human
I went cherry blossom viewing with some people I used to work with. We walked for about three kilometers along the Gojo River. The cherry trees were in full bloom, and the wind made the flower petals fall like snow into the water. Afterwards, we went for coffee. When we sat down, we called a waitress, but she showed us the tablet at the table. We had to make our order with it. Then a robot brought us our orders. Almost nothing was human. Would the robot do everything? No, it didn’t move after it delivered our order. The waitress had to press a button on the robot to send it back. She also had to clean the table after we left.
