What’s Going On?
The weather is strange this year. It was warmer than usual in the early spring, and everything seemed to bloom early. The cherry blossoms were early, and then the Chinese fringe trees were really early. They usually bloom at the end of Golden Week, but this year they were in full bloom on April 26. We are still in May today, but the rainy season has already begun! What’s going on!? Why are things changing? I think that global warming is affecting the seasons. I hope this doesn’t mean that the summer will be longer and hotter. Nagoya summers are already too hot as it is!
