・one dayは過去にも未来にも使いますね。一方some dayは未来にしか使いません。面白いですね。理屈ではないですね。
Read Your Emails Carefully!
My sister lives in the U.S., and she reads Jaremaga every day. Last Friday, I was worried when I got this email from her. “I collapsed with heat stroke one day. My son poured water over me. When I got to the hospital, my temperature was very LOW. They gave me two liters of liquid before I felt okay.” I called her right away and asked, “How are you?” She seemed surprised and said that she was fine. “What about your heat stroke?” I asked. “Oh, that was a long time ago.” The email was her own Readers’ Corner story about heat stroke. I looked at it again and saw that it said “one day.” That means that it happened a long time ago. I should read my emails more carefully!
