HIGH SCHOOL ESSAY, 1st Prize: Where is Your School Bag?
One day, when I was an elementary school student, I got up very early. I was ready to go to school, and I was watching TV. The weather forecaster said, “It will rain in the afternoon. We have to bring our umbrella.” I thought I had to take my umbrella to school. After a while, it was time to leave home. I didn’t forget my umbrella. It was beautiful weather that day, so I felt happy. I could move lightly. When I saw my friend, I said “Good morning!” Then she said, “Oh, where is your school bag?” I realized I had only brought my umbrella. I can’t forget how embarrassed I felt then.
