村祭りのくじでセスナ機を３０分間操縦できるという賞を引き当てた人がいるそうです。先週のじゃれマガ読者コーナーの作者は受講生のA子さんでした。

６月にイギリスでホームステイしたときの快挙だったそうです。

飛行中に操縦かんを握ったというのですからA子さん見かけによらず勇気があるのですね。私なら絶対無理です。

A子さんはもうじゃれマガ登場３回目だそうですね。おめでとうございます。
今年も大勢のみらい生がReader’s Cornerを飾りましたね、数えてはいませんが。きっと最大勢力？ではないでしょうか。以下本文です。

Readers’ Corner: A Unique Lottery Prize
The year-end jumbo lottery (“takarakuji”) has gone on sale, but I am not going to buy any more lottery tickets. I have already won one prize this year. When I went to a village festival with my host-mother in England in June, I won a special prize at the church raffle. It was a 30-minute trial lesson in a small airplane (Cessna) at an airfield! I couldn’t believe it. I’d never heard of such a unique lottery prize before. Of course, I didn’t have a pilot’s license. I flew the plane holding the control stick with the pilot. What an amazing experience it was!
