Readers’ Corner: My First Pet
I have a pet dog. He is my first pet. Our family started to keep a dog after I retired. He is a shibainu named Jagabutter. Living with a dog has brought our family a lot of happiness. First, he makes us more peaceful. Arguments between me and my husband stop sooner than before. Next, taking him for a walk twice every day makes me healthier. Lastly, I have made friends with a lot of neighbors. Maybe more than ten people have become friends with me and my dog. The most wonderful thing happened the other day. One of my new friends gave me a picture of my dog that she had painted. The picture made my family really, really happy.
