Japan’s Gold Medals
The NHK Trophy has just finished, and Japan has won gold medals in the pairs event and in the men’s event. Miura Riku and Kihara Ryuichi won their second Grand Prix gold medal this year in the pairs. Their first gold medal was won in Skate Canada in October. In the men’s event, Yamamoto Sota came in first place and Uno Shoma came in second in the short program. The next day, Uno skated first and gave a great performance that Yamamoto couldn’t match. Uno won the gold medal while Yamamoto got the silver medal. Everyone will go on to the Grand Prix Final next month.
